# First steps on Base blockchain

You can start collecting in minutes even if you never transacted on Base Blockchain Before

Follow this 2 quick steps to start you Base mainnet journey: Add network to your wallet and fund it with ETH

## 1. Add Base Blockchain to your wallet

Option 1: The easiest way to do this is via chainlist, just go to <https://chainlist.org/chain/8453> connect your wallet and the chain will be added automatically. Rabby users can skip this step as the wallet natively includes base blockchain

## 2. Fund your wallet with ETH

### Option 1 CEX withdrawal

Almost all CEXs allow for on chain withdraws to the Base Netwok. Fees are usually very cheap, from $0.03 On Binance to around $1 on MEXC

### Option 2. Bridge ETH from another Blockchain

There are many Blockchain bridges you might use to send ETH to base. Here are a few recomendations of fast and cheap bridges

#### Gas.zip <https://www.gas.zip/>

Fast and very cheap but limited to $50 per bridge

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://1549371217-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FE7Alen23R9JmoAmePv74%2Fuploads%2FHVyjXwH7A1c41gd8a0d0%2FScreenshot%202024-06-14%20153415.png?alt=media&amp;token=59c748f5-b03e-4a46-b041-a145e9f8ffe9" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### Nitro <https://app.routernitro.com/>

Another super fast and cheap bridge that allows transfers from Solana to Base

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://1549371217-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FE7Alen23R9JmoAmePv74%2Fuploads%2F6KjUocPFimp1Ff7jNwSo%2FScreenshot%202024-06-14%20153540.png?alt=media&amp;token=bba36aa7-fddc-48cc-b52e-5ab3477fe193" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Rubic <https://app.rubic.exchange/>

Huge bridge aggregator. A bit more expensive but support transfers between more than 80 different blockchains

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://1549371217-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FE7Alen23R9JmoAmePv74%2Fuploads%2FEKxzyJXCNVyXitjvfaKm%2FScreenshot%202024-06-14%20160110.png?alt=media&amp;token=94d80999-d91c-4dbd-b605-05d8824f9a3b" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### That´s it, we are ready to go!

With your wallet connected to base and funded with some ETH you are ready to mint your first set of cards
